FAQs
Ordering & Expedited Shipping
My plant is down. How fast can you get a part to me?
We understand that downtime costs you money, so we process orders immediately. Most standard in-stock components ship within 1 to 2 business days from our US-based warehouse network. If you are in a severe break-fix scenario and require emergency air freight or hot-shot delivery, please email our support team immediately at orders@gconparts.com with your required part numbers, machine model, and delivery ZIP code. Because our heavy inventory is distributed across multiple warehouse locations, an email allows our technical team to immediately and accurately verify exact stock levels and expedited freight cutoffs for your specific components.
Where do you ship from, and do you ship outside the contiguous US?
To ensure rapid delivery and zero cross-border friction, our inventory ships directly from our US-based warehouse network and OEM partner facilities. Standard and "Free Shipping" promotions apply to the Contiguous US (Lower 48). If you are located in Alaska or Hawaii, please contact us for a custom LTL freight quote.
Can I cancel my order?
If you catch the mistake quickly and notify us before the component has physically left our warehouse or OEM partner facility, we will cancel the order for a 100% full refund. However, once a part is loaded onto a carrier's truck and is in transit, the order cannot be cancelled. It will be treated as a standard return, subject to applicable restocking fees and freight charges.
Freight & Delivery (LTL)
How do heavy freight (LTL) deliveries work?
The majority of our severe-duty process components ship on pallets via commercial Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) freight. Please note: Deliveries are dock-to-dock or curbside only. The freight driver will not move the pallet inside your facility. Your facility must have a loading dock or a forklift readily available to safely unload the freight from the back of the semi-truck.
What do I do if my pallet arrives damaged?
Freight damage is rare, but you must protect your facility by inspecting the pallet before signing the driver's delivery receipt (Bill of Lading). If there is major visible damage, write "DAMAGED" on the paperwork, refuse the shipment, and contact us immediately. If you sign for the freight as "Clear" and discover hidden damage later, you have a strict 5-business-day window to report it to us so we can file a carrier claim on your behalf.
What if my shipment arrives but is missing a part?
If your shipment arrives and appears to be missing an item or accessory, you must report the shortage to us at orders@gconparts.com within 3 business days of delivery. Claims for missing parts made outside of this window cannot be verified and will be denied.
Returns & Fitment
What is your return policy if I order the wrong part?
We know parts can sometimes sit on a receiving dock for a few days, so you have 30 days from delivery to request a return. Because we sell severe-duty equipment, returned parts must be in brand-new, uninstalled, and resellable condition. Installed parts (showing bolt marks, grease, or thread wear) cannot be returned.
Are there restocking fees for returns?
Yes. Forensically inspecting and repackaging heavy industrial parts requires significant manual labor and forklift time. To cover these intake costs, standard stock components are subject to a 15% restocking fee, and specialized concrete/process components are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Custom-built or special-order items are non-returnable.
Note: If a return is required because we made a shipping error, we waive all fees and cover the return freight.

How do I make sure a part will fit my specific machinery?
While our team is happy to provide expert technical guidance and manufacturer spec sheets, it is ultimately the buyer's responsibility to verify compatibility, flange patterns, and pneumatic requirements for their specific plant prior to ordering. If you are unsure, please email orders@gconparts.com with your machine's make and model before checking out.
Billing & Administration
Do you accept Purchase Orders (POs) or offer Net terms?
To ensure rapid processing and immediate dispatch of your first order, we require payment in advance via major credit card or wire transfer. Because formal credit checks take several days to process, this ensures your urgent parts ship without delay. Once a successful initial trading history is established, you may apply for corporate Net 30 terms. Established accounts can email their formal Purchase Orders to orders@gconparts.com.
How do I submit my Tax Exemption Certificate?
If your facility qualifies for state tax exemption, please do not complete your checkout online yet. Email your valid, signed state Tax Exemption Certificate to orders@gconparts.com along with your required part numbers. Our team will manually build your tax-free quote and send you a secure payment link.
Warranty & Technical Support
Do your components come with a warranty?
Yes. We are an authorized distributor for top-tier industrial brands. All components are sold with the full backing of the original equipment manufacturer's (OEM) warranty. If a part fails prematurely due to a manufacturing defect, we will act as your advocate to help facilitate the warranty claim directly with the manufacturer.
Am I covered for plant downtime if a part fails?
While the physical part itself is covered under the OEM warranty, Griffin Construction Parts does not assume financial liability for consequential damages, including lost revenue, lost profits, or plant downtime resulting from a delayed delivery or component failure. Our maximum liability is limited strictly to the replacement or refund of the purchased component.
